I've had a few wines from Grosjean Freres and they've all been great, so of course Id be all over this ...what? Italian gamay? Yessss. Bright, tart cherry, a little barn funk. interesting wine. I dig it.

Had to try a gamay from somewhere other than Beaujolais. Smells like latex gloves and not much else, maybe a bit of cherry. Tasted much better, with massively bright fruit on the palate. Lemon, ripe cherry, strawberry, maybe a touch of mint and stone fruit.
