Tart cranberry, smoky, grainy and too much pepper for me. Not a huge fan.

Solid wine, don't know exactly what all the fuss is about though, there's still a primary fruit driven simplistic character to this one, I'll re-evaluate them when I've got he chance to try the whole line-up.

Pretty with air. Needed more than I gave it, but enjoyed it quite a bit!

Likely the last of Wind Gap for me - Pax sold stake to his partner (Charles Banks who is in prison for fraud). Pax will continue to make wine under the “Pax” label - his style always favors cool climate, low ABV, lean, whole cluster, not too out there but true to the natural wine sermon.

The 2013 Pinot is soft. Supple raspberry, boysenberry, and wild strawberry. Brick color from 6 years of age. It sings the New California song.

Very solid Sonoma Coast Pinot with mushroom, earth, fruit, spice and floral notes. Nice long finish. Great QPR.

Mushroom, cinnamon, pepper, prunes, strawberry on the nose, quite nice. Round and balanced on the palate with good length.
