Slight funk on the nose. Dry, razor thin texture makes way to a cheek gripping astringency that dissipates into a surprisingly gentle finish.

Hooray for small format ageing. This is velvet in a glass. And hooray for catching Piedmont week at IL Lido

Slightly more tart than I prefer. Decant or enjoy the 2nd or 3rd day. Lighter style

Text of a forward drinking Barolo!
You might say I didn't 't know there were any forward drinking barolo's .
This Puppy is ready and will improve with 2-3 more years of aging. A true delightful surprise!

Complex wine that takes you down a journey over hills and valleys. Upfront red fruit, pomegranate and red licorice. This is why we love wine!!

Yep. This was one of those bottles of wine where we had to fight over the last drop. Gave it plenty of time to decant and it was worth it. It exploded in your mouth and reveal great depth with a grippy finish. Anise and dry tart pie cherry provided most of the the music.

Funky nose of clove and stinky socks. A warm, spicy, nutmeggy Barolo. Tart cherry and a clenching tannic finish that is somehow still gentle. Ready but I think this could go awhile.
