Subtle oak. Smooth and slightly crisp. Worked well with a butternut soup, a light salad and chicken.

Touch of Melon. No classic California Chardonnay over oakiness. Crisp. Solid summer wine.

Unctuous, creamy and dryly honeyed. Nice rich mouthfeel, if a little heavy handed.

Showing a bit of restraint, but still pretty full-bodied.

Hints of melon, not oaky, slightly sweet and acidic. Mellows after being out of the fridge. Had with schnitzel.

I'm not a Chardonnay fan ordinarily, but dining at the Chart House in Marina Del Rey, and this is the recommended wine. Lovely, soft and bright. Will complement my tuna dish and my husband's halibut.
