Interesting and light nose but the palate is austere and has dried out. #michelgros #hautescotesdenuits #piontnoir #burgundy #ctbucklinwine

First time for me for producer. Occasionally the terroir can produce something a little more (ironically) elevated than Bourgogne but this is not the exception. Just exceptional Bourgogne. Score corresponds to the $40 tag.

Pretty good, however I suspect not a traditional representation of burgundy's Pinot fare.

Miles ahead of where it was a year ago. Over-the-top sour berry and forest-woody nose. Straightforward lively cherry with a clean, twig-tinged finish. Nice.

Serviceable. If it signed my yearbook I wouldn't recognize the name a month later.

Nice medium ruby. Sour cherry herbs and hint of oak. Profoundly youthful. Bright acidity. Young black cherry tart. Balanced.
