A glorious citrus melon with low acidity and a light syrup body. Flavors of ripe pear and apple with a tinge of white cheddar. Short sweet finish.

First sip was rough, but it's pretty good after a couple. Not as floral or sweet as a French Chenin, but still somewhat agreeable considering where it comes from. You can taste some minerality and light spritz, definitely some tart lemon peel and dried unsweetened yellow fruit.

It's a nice chenin, but I find it a little...thin, I suppose. Lacking the depth and satisfaction of, say, the Secateurs by Badenhorst in the same price range. Nice acid and nose, just doesn't have the oomph I'd want.

Had a smoky hint on the nose which was intriguing but on the palate this was only average.

Pleasant easy to drink Steen. But named Chenin Blanc. Medium golden. Nicely intense. Even though it finishes clean and short. Stone fruit. A touch floral. Persimmons Bosc pear and luscious. Enjoyable.

Just testing Delectable here. Yes stone fruit, bracing axidity, a bit peppery.
