Meursault Chardonnay

Delicious as always. 2011 Roulot are great across the board.

This kept on opening up .... a linear wine

No need to really rate this, you know. Mind bending: vibrant acid, delicate fruit, intense minerality, subtle oak. And it goes on forever.

Lovely on open. A hint of oak that blows off. Lemon zest.

Fruit is so bright. A hint of tartness. Great acidity. Almost puckering. No fat at all. Super lean and linear.

Long bright finish.

160 euros on the list. $400 at retail stateside.

Lovely mersault. Great nose. Good length. Bottle too small

Clean, focused, linear, shy. Outdone by its company tonight

Racy and crisp. Not many traits of this being a meursault. But very Burgundian.
