Terrific. Meaty, complex. Deep. Went great with pasta puttanesca.

I found this to be kind of clunky. New oak somewhat covers the fruit. Hopefully the next bottle is better.

Sooo went to get the Christmas tree, it was packed and took forever, the kids wanted CPK for dinner told my wife I’m bringing wine! Of course he submarines the cork. All good this wine is a gem. Still very young. Was excellent by the time dinner was done and nerves had died down. Solid cherry fruit, tobacco and some mineral mixed in with a smooth finish. Enjoy and my best guess enjoy for another decade. PS probably deserves a higher score but it wasn’t decanted and well my kids were going crazy

Beautiful Sangiovese. Dark fruit with a touch mineral, nice finish. Great value from a solid producer.

This 2006 Sangioveto Malvasia blend is terrific! Wild cherry, earthy undertones with a hint of blackberry. It is in its sweet spot right now but has at least 8 to 10 years remaining. Enjoy!

2006 so good with steak, veal or Italian. Great now. May have another 6 years remaining but don't take the risk for sure. At peak today. Drinking well.

Wow. Love it. Seductive. Great mouthfeel with a long finish. The best one tonight.
