A-/B+. Surprisingly Brickish color. On the nose dark cherry, herbs and forest floor. On the palate raisin and tart cherries. Had two bottles. The first was fabulous although slightly tight. Did not decant. The second we didn’t finish but had it the second day still nice body and acidity but seemingly a bit more tannic. Still a great (two) bottle. Vintage 2010. April 2018

Killer, berry, dark, and rustic nose. Cherries & mild pepper on the palate. Maybe a woody cedar and some dark chocolate. Highly recommend.

Dark and rustic at first, then it moved to a smoothness with just a bit of fruit, this is a classic Brunello. If you can find it for less than $55, it's a great value.

Great bouquet and fresh deep earth fruit so smooth

Not a real heavy brunello, which allowed for nicely balanced expression of cherry - sour cherry more than black cherry - and maybe even a hint of raisin.

Top pick of the tasting, especially at the price point. This one is a keeper. Even at this stage very drinkable and can't wait for 5 years from now. Stock up.

My #1 pick of the tasting. Had a wonderful old world texture but with plenty of fruit to propel it forward. Everything was just so well balanced and i think this will age the best of them all.

Best example of Brunello do Montalcino in SF tasting. Just enough oak, lively fruit, typical as ageable

One of the most cellar-worthy wines from 2010 Brunello du Montalcino. Power, grace, rich and full.
