Blackberry, plum, and a bit of graphite and wet earth on the nose. Flavors of dark fruit, plum, cassis, spice, and wood. Still quite tannic, but red meat smooths out the edges. Dry, black fruit on the long, drying finish. Should hang on another 10 years.

Lovely blueberry bagel smells contrasting nicely with cast iron skillet, cedar shavings, dried olives, tobacco tar and violets. Graphite sprinkled black currant, chai spices, pickled peach essence, pepper and plum reduction. Big dark cloud of a finish.

A blend of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, deep Purple color (probably from the late harvest), with aromas of ripe black fruits, floral spice and flint. On the palate this wine had a great mouthfeel with enticing silky tannins giving way to blackberry and blueberry flavors, and a slight toasty oak character. The finish had good length ending with some cacao and minerality. Will age well for another decade.

Fantastic. 'Off year' st emilion. It has beautiful fruit along with camphor, cassis, blackberry and vanilla on the nose. Soft mouthfeel, velvety tannins and long finish. This is one of the best $30 wines out there. Try with a ribeye.

Delicious, just what I'd expect from a young right bank wine. Big, muscular, dried herbs, roasted meat and dark fruit. Slightly herbaceous. A beauty and a value, can't wait to check it out in 5 or 10 years.

Well managed tannins, but give her time and she'll smooth out her rough edges.

Modern, caramel vanilla with thick lush fruits. Enough acidity to keep it from being flabby. Decent complexity and finish.
