Cuvée Albéric Bouvet Crozes-Hermitage Syrah

Dark ruby with purple hue, red cherry, black cherry, black berry and blue berry, slightly smoky with bacon and black olive notes, bay leaf, all spice, clove, dusty, cocoa powder, black pepper, med plus tannin, licorice

Lovely lifted violet and blackberry aromas, slight green edge, medium bodied with medium plus slightly astringent tannins. Not very complex now, will probably gain complexity over next 5-8 years, so best to wait a little longer for optimum drinking.

Good wine. Nothing special but is a honest option for a half bottle wine when you don't wanna spend more money.

Restrained and elegant with good structure. Herbs and black olive. Takes a long time for the jammy fruit to really show. A bit of chocolate in the long finish.

So velvety. This is really nice for $25. I'll drink this all day.

Delicious honest youthful and bright. Packed with wine maker Gille Robins bubbly personality. Excellent!
