I love the complexity of aromas: lavender bush, cider and smoky cedar chips. It's subtle on the nose. On the palate, I find the acidity a little bit out of balance. It slightly "burns" or feels annoying.

Beautiful, classic Côte-Rotie, notes of violets, bacon, subtle cherry and blackberry, leather. Shows great typicity for the AOC, excellent acidity and firm but finely grained tannin.

Also drinking amazing on day four. More blue and red fruits than the Voge. Dried violets, and Côte de Provence herbs, candied raspberries, pepper and dusty tannins. Lovely.
