Floral smells, very light red. Thin mouthful, sour strawberry and sour blueberries, lightly peppery. Dry, lingering tannins.

Bright and floral, zesty cherry, raspberry, rose petal, violet, and a touch of banana. The texture suggests carbonic maceration. Very easy sipping.

Young, and still in the more is more phase. Extra fruit and extra tannins steamroll over any sense of nuance or complexity. Good material here, though, so revisit in a year or three.

Found some East Bay in Detroit tonight :) What a delightful wine. All the fruit and acidity that I love about gamay with some awesomely delicate tannins thrown in to tease the taste buds.
