Dom Perignon made an incredible champagne out of a not great year for champagne. Strawberry, notes of baking spice, toasted almonds round out the minerality and acid. Creamy long finish...

Lots of Pinot. Very dark in color. Not my favorite vintage.

It's interesting that this was ever released, '03 had ripe PN, but this isn't a wine to really be amazed with, slightly flabby & one dimensional, if there was a Ruinart release of '03 I'd love to see a comparison, but can't really see that coming...

Indicative of the vintage, a little too ripe for my liking, but a great good wine.

One of the earliest picked champagnes since the early 19th century. Perfect with wagyu beef.

Deliciously rich, spicy bottle! Lacking some acid for the class, but certainly toasty and yeasty!

Enjoyed this special edition 2003 Dom Rosé w/friends from LA last Wednesday to celebrate my WBFF Pro card win. Marvelous mouthfeel! A real treat in beautiful packaging.

Fresh and vibrant! Brioche and lime zest. Minerality and acid are all over this little wine in a declared vintage that most houses couldn't declare. Precise finish. True example of why Dom Perignon is simply one of the finest champagne houses....
