It is really amazing how little color advancement the cuvée Cathleen Chardonnays have been showing the 2009 shows almost no advancement whatsoever. It is pale yellow with green tints as if it were just released. Wine has aromas of nectarines medium ripe and just hints of a slight buttery oiliness. On the pallet in the wind has excellent concentration. It has the weight and death of a Corton Charlemagne from a ripe vintage. It has great length and medium acid structure in the finish. This one still has a long way to go. Outstanding.

Had a 2010 about 5 months ago. Similar notes here. More of an acidity here. Poured darker in the glass than I was expecting. This seemed to have more of a peach and pineapple kind of nose with a funk to it, but the palate to me seemed to be more reminiscent of sharper stone ground fruits, kiwi, honeydew. Finished with more rounded edges than it started. A nice bottle. I'd probably make plans to consume this one soon if you have any in your cellar. Not that it is over the hill, but it is certainly not going to get any better!

I wish I had a bottle allocated. Taste like liquid candy. The best white bottle I have drunken recently.

Wow. That's great. Lush fruit, layers of it with perfect tension of acidity and some salinity through it. Long smooth, pretty crem brûlée with some mineral finish. It's all here.

Wow. Copious layers of fruit with enough acidity to balance it out. Very grand Cru like. Lush and such a long finish.
