About as fine as #vawine gets. Glad I didn't have to pay for it.

Very much in line with 2012 in style, but with less structure and virility. An extra year in bottle and a tougher 2011 vintage makes this one an even earlier drinker than 2012. Drink now to 3-4 years. @RdV Vineyards

Couldn't resist a taste of the new vintage. A baby of a wine . . . but with great potential.

Wow. Best...the best...Virginia wine I've ever had. Blind taste and you won't believe where its from.

First time trying the 2011 which was a tough vintage in VA. Medium bodied with red fruits and good bit of acidity. Will check back in on other bottles in a couple of years.

Fantastic. Very smooth; a bit lighter than Lost Mountain. Tasted this at RdV Vineyards, then had a bottle with Julia Child's Bifteck Sauté à la Bordelaise. Superb!
