Réserve de la Comtesse Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend

Red-fruited, a gentle and quickly dissipating nose of berry liqueur and sloe gin, just a touch of old leather bound book. Some poached cranberry and a little dried powdered orange peel. A hint of smoke and wood. Salty finish with some phenolic bitterness. Nice... seems just on the other side of its peak.

Disappointing lack of depth and volume to this second wine from an outstanding year.

Caught this last bottle at the right time, classy Pauillac with lovely structure and textbook finish

Dark deep flavor but not harsh. Really enjoyed it.

Drinks beautifully now. The best among all vintages. Better than 2009/2010/2011
