Ageno Malvasia di Candia Blend

This boy ain't playing, proper orange wine! Nose kind of reminds me of Lipton peach ice tea, bergamot and orange marmalade zest (along with a touch of volatile furniture polish, tcp, smokey honey). The palate has loads of that meaty orchard skin fruit & tannin, sappy with an apple skin & dried ginger finish.

Stable and showing well. The floral-meets-candied apricot character of Malvasia di Candia is always so welcoming and charming.

Stoppa in the name of love.

So much life and goodness.

Good orange wine--with a funky dark cinnamon note-- that needs food.

Like Snelling packets of cubed Rowntree Orange jelly. Sickly sweet/Acid. Clementines and chewy tanins within. Orange wine by name orange wine by nature. (The 161 staff out at ToastED a having a great evening)
