Bought by the grandparents, I fully expected a German V-2 to blow up in my face. But I was pleasantly surprised with a superb bottle of wine. A classic Italian wine that is mildly fruity and full bodied. Very well made.

Sharp and tart at first sip, but after decanting and letting it air out it really came around. Red cherry and balsamic.
