Lots of floral notes and riper fruit character on this chianti. Showing a little more extraction to it. Structurally there but the acidity seems a little diminished for what I'd expect from this region. Dusty minerality but missing those tomato and sanguine tones I'm used to.

Hints of twizzlers on the nose. No joke. Very old world in flavor. Has a certain dryness to it that I can't really explain, but it comes with a funk. Still enjoyable table wine.

I forgot I had this and tried it. It was from 2011! What a great surprise. Tasty, rich without being heavy handed. Lively! It had great berry flavors. A nice treat.
