Wound up but not short of great. Lots of potential. Smokey, meaty, and great nerve of minerality. Lovely medium bodied Syrah that's pure and true.

Young and a bit tight but it's got all the right stuff to blow my mind. This is a root day biodynamically so I will return to it tomorrow and see if anything is different

A polarizing wine - either love it or hate it. Last few vintages haven’t carried the smoked meat profile of the first one I had and I’ve been looking for since. May be my last shot with this one.

Dec 12th, 2019Typically a favorite of mine, but this never really came together. Some blood and iron, but less meatiness/bacon fat than usual and a bit thin. Still solid, just didn’t live up to expectations.
