2005 DRC Grands-Echezeaux Burgundy. Wine charity dinner bought by H&C S, hosted at the house. Pinot course. Drank alongside the '09 Kosta Browne 4 Barrel. Decanted 1.5 hrs prior. Earthy, slightly musty, herbs, and sour berries. Much thinner in texture than Kosta. Great!

Jun 7th, 20162005 DRC Grand Echezaux Burgundy. Drank at lunch w DS and Jan at The Ivy. This wine needed time and really came around and was much more complex and drank like we had hoped it would. Awesome.
