Dec 25th, 2023PnP. Classic Matthiasson red blend. Menthol and dark cherries on the nose with ample cedar. Lovely texture with hints of spice and even some cloves. Medium depth and finished. Well made!

Really quite nice but I probably slightly preferred the 2011 we had a few months ago. Quite inky dark and refined. It’s all there - the fruit, the sweet tannins, the slight vanilla from the oak. Very nice with a beautiful ribeye on the grill.

Jun 20th, 2023Great! 1hr+ decant and could have used a lot more. Dark red color. Dark cherries with a hint of cedar on the nose. Ample tannins are well balanced with the fruit and paired nicely with flank steak. Hints of oak and vanilla throughout. Chewy, deep wine. Medium finish.
