Y2000 produced a very good outcome. Cherry cola, dark cocoa, rivers of blackberry and currants.

Still young. But classic. Scorched earth, tweed jacket, mulberry, spice, leather. Insane concentration and finesse. Terrific velvety tannins. Top stuff.

Incredible wine. Drinking perfectly now. Intense nose of blackcurrant and horse dung; on the palate, a superb emulsion of liquorice, cassis, and dark fruits developing into a silky display of chocolate orange backed by fine grain tannins. Finish just keeps on giving. Excellent.

A great old school Graves composed of 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon. It had a clean earth and bright mineral nose that was nicely open and framed by a little bit of vanilla. The fruit was sweet and rich, the texture decadent, and the overall impression as big as a California wine. On the back end it focused into pure Graves minerality… I wish I had bought cases of this on release and will be looking out for it in the future!

2000. Drink now. Perfect spot. I didn’t plan ahead and stand it up all night prior to opening - wish I had. High toned yet sone dark notes. Singular Bordeaux aromatics. Gone are the days when we get Bordeaux like this for $40.

Wonderful BORDEAUX bouquet with a mix of black and red berries nicely complemented by soft wooden notes of tobacco and wet bark
