Such a pure expression of Chassagne, it's been quite a few years since I've had his wines, it's so well balanced, lactic/crême-fraiche with a citrus custard elegance, I think one of the best examples of the appellation, it's really something else.

2013 Vincent Dancer Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "Tete du Clos" - mineral, floral, touch of oak. Elegant and precise. Damn these are precise. Sappy, dense, balanced. More body.

About an hour after opening - my astounded thought to myself: this must be the platonic ideal of ‘razor sharp precision’. Just an astounding, and absolutely delicious wine.
