Comparing 2 ripe vintages with the 2015 of the same cuvée. Some animal scents - lovely Burgundian nose. Complexity with forest floor Potting mix and compost. Palate staining intensity.

It took about an hour to open. Clearly this is in its infancy. It is powerful-it will be even better in five years. Very fruit forward now- it in very well made and will soften its finish ( and mid palate) as it ages.

Deep ruby red with classic beetroot and berries on the nose. Subtle strawberries and herbs on a saturated mid-palette that lingered with sprightly tannins.
