Reflective of the cool 2011 vintage. Nice wine. Great balance. Love the stemmy notes

Day 3 wine course with Kathy Morgan, M.S., tasting -- love it's class, being balanced and nicely serious.

Can't decide if I like this or Hitching Post better, but at one-third of the price of a Sea Smoke Ten, this is a champion. Made a mistake by not decanting it. Will be certainly better after 30 to 60 minutes in the decanter. Nose is green (40% whole clusters in fermentation), candied red fruit, rose, and slight fennel. Palate follows the aroma. Nice texture for a light-medium bodied wine. My only gripe is the overly candied fruit flavor.

Very atypical pino. Thin and tart, like unripened berries.
