Kind of culture shock for a guy who's used to Loire and Virginia Cabernet Franc: none of my usual Franc markers are present. This smells and tastes like an earthy bacon dark cherry cinnamon muffin. Lots of rich and ripe fruit on the palate, decent acidity, and very fine tannins. I really kind of like this.

Smooth, extremely balance, earthy and smokey. Not too heavy on the tannins. Excellent wine for the price!
