A bright garnet, the '91 Beringer Cabernet Sauvignon 'Private Reserve' has evolved into an absolutely beautiful mature old-style Napa Cab. Lovely nose of ripe cassis, black cherry, cedar and eucalyptus. Decanted an hour before pouring and the flavors continuously developed with the last sip being the best. The wine finished sweet, smooth and long.

An expanse of fruit, down the middle of Cabernet profile. A kiss of dust and leather on the nose to remind you it was harvested 26 years ago. Amazing fruit, cocoa, acid, balance. The finish is nearly two minutes. Just try not to smile. Happy Mother's Day!

Really in a great spot right now, loved this for its perfect balance and mature complexity. Not to mention its drinkability from time softening the structure and it's inherent lower alcohol.
