From the nose, I expected a lot more earth and underbrush. This could have almost passed as a Nebbiolo. On the palate, this was soft classic pinot noir. Beautiful fruit with a little heft of iron and mineral notes. There were some good tannins making me think this could age several more years wonderfully. I am happy I opened this tonight though and will wait a few years on the rest.
