Its the middle of winter, but my thoughts are on summer, hence, a summer brew. Leinenkugel's Berry Weiss is a summer thirst quencher, made with black berry juice in the brewing process. Its made in the german "kristallweizen" tradition, meaning its filtered to remove some yeast for clarity. Its pinkish in color, somewhat sweet, more carbonated than most beers, and fruity in taste. Ive noticed that more women enjoy this brew than men, but i draw no conclusions on that. If beer is not your 1st choice when ordering a beverage, you might become a Berry Weiss advocate.
