Had with Brasato al Barolo and Polenta. What a perfect Sunday dinner for a cool fall evening. I absolutely love this producer. Elegant Nebbiolo that is just so lovely and enjoyable to drink.

Know what goes great with fresh porcinis and polenta? 10 year old Nebbiolo on the elegant end of the spectrum. Holy crap, this is heavenly together. One of the most natural pairings I've ever had.

Cherry cola, thyme, dark plums, dry tobacco leaves, cedar, forest floor, clay, wet rocks, graphite, balsamic. Perfect acid/smooth velvet tannin balance, medium bodied, mineral driven, long complex smoky/earthy finish. Drinking beautifully, can age at least another 10 years at least if desired. Decanting recommended, in the glass evolution preferred.
