This wine is pretty green. First sips out of the bottle were harshly alcoholic; thin and very tannic. So I decanted it for two hours, then the magic happened. The tannins subsided and the harsh alcohol got covered up by massive black fruit. The mouth feel was silky with a great finish. This vintage could use another year or two in the bottle but if you open it, please decant for at least an hour.
