When i drank this delightful wine i saw zeus himself come before me and asked me for this wine. If this wine was a one of my 12 super models she would be kristy (the kinky one ;)). 8/7.325 would use as anal plug.

What a disgusting grape syrup alcohol infused mess. What the hell happened to Caymus and why are they labeling this cab?

Extracted enough to look like a dark inky Malbec, nose is hot and like a big glass of undiluted cassis. This has gotta be at least 15% Petite Sirah--the palate is just a chocolate jam bomb; actually reminds me specifically of those shark fruit snacks which were my favorite in my lunch box growing up. Nostalgia aside, not what I want in my Cabernet. This is awful, at any price point, much less the HIGHER price they have the '13 at. Maybe they should blend some Meiomi in for complexity.

Vanilla overpowered everything else that might be lurking in background. Silky smooth though.

I hate it. But i love it. I truly dislike the wine itself, but I love selling the hell out of magnums all night 👍. No earth to speak of. Tastes like you spread blackberry extract on an oak stave and ate it...

A decided improvement on the 2012. The "41st" anniversary with the new label. This has a high note of tobacco and a tannic and high acidic structure at first gulp. These will definitely round out in due time. Should be decanted a few hours at least. Gonna get much more plush and blueberry styled as it goes, extreme purple staining color. 13 over 12 anytime for me!

I'm really astounded how little I respect this. Tastes like blackberry pancake syrup. So much hang time. Dial it back. Give me some subtlety. This is a huge disappointment.

Time to celebrate. Here's a wonderful wine for the occasion.

Deep inky in color with no rim whatsoever.

Beautiful nose of vanilla, soaked cherries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, figs, oak, leather, smoke, spices, wildflowers, candy corn and white pepper.

Full-bodied and bold, with a great mouthfeel, smooth and elegant, with medium acidity and great looking legs.

Fruity and dry on the palate, with blackberries, blueberries, figs, raisins, red licorice, tobacco, smoke, beef jerky, cloves, spices, earth and peppercorn.

Long finish with firm, yet smooth, tannins and cherries.

This is a wonderful Cabernet Sauvignon from the house of the Wagner family. Very enjoyable by itself as a sipping wine, on the porch, or with a big piece of steak.

Smooth and elegant with a great mouthfeel. Chewy and jammy, balanced and approachable. Will drink nicely in the next decade or more. Great wine, great vintage.

Needed two hours in a decanter to open up properly.

14.9% alcohol by volume.
