Spiced, baked pear. Candied pineapple. Oak aging to know it’s not Burgundy, but some tendencies. One of the better Auberts for sure.

Power, weight, richness, a bit too ripe for me. 10 is still holding on well, fruit is starting to show some age but still good for a while

Solid, but a little too “buttery” for me.

Really needed a lot of air time to come out of shell and then was bursting with lemon confit and great zest.

Fantastic chard by Mark Aubert. Great aromatics of lemon, white flowers, tropical fruits, along with hints of pineapple and maybe a trace of vanilla. Rich on the palate that echoes the lemon on the nose, but adds a touch of acidity that keeps it moving through an impressively long, lingering finish. Awesome.

Great balance just after opening with bright fruit and just a hint of caramel apple on the finish. As it warms, the rich caramel notes intensify with some sweet Bosc pear. California style is unmistakable but not in a bad way IMHO.
