Aromatically beautiful wine, so much perfume, unfortunately the balance on the palate seemed off, short metallic finish with high acidity, maybe some Brett in this bottle

A pretty tarry expression of Syrah. All the benefits of working on a road crew but none of the grimy elements.

Classic rotie. Great and grippy tannins. Earth and the elements of cooking steak. Boffo

In this vintage, would have been hard pressed to say this wasn't the single vineyard bottling unless tasted side by side--powerful and complex, liquid rocks up front, with structure just beginning to soften enough for fruit and savory elements to emerge.
