Nose has full fruit flavors. Tasting tip: decant and wait! This wine has a light to medium feel. Fruit flavors are mild with blackberry and an earthy texture. Tannins are a little heavy (than expected). Finish has a mild to medium bite. Although it is balanced well, flavors are less pronounced than expected, especially from a reputable winery such as this.

2009 vintage. Classic left bank Bordeaux in a great ripe vintage. Drinking very well, but no hurry to drink this. Lanessan has always been very reliable, and it is getting better in recent vintages. Very good value too.
