Hard to follow the 2001, but a hearty noble showing nonetheless.

Very muted aromatically when popped, though the palate was surprisingly open. With some air and paired with tarjin and truffles and egg in fonduta and truffles it was youthful magic.

Mediocre and lacking elegance, depth or character

From the sub-cru "San Giusppe," this natural amphitheater comprises the entire southwestern side of Bricco Boschis. Silk smooth and impeccably balanced. A gem within a gem.

Texturally layered. Dark cherries, tar, prosciutto, and roses.

Nice wine but needs another 10-15 yrs

Big, rich structured Barolo that is still very youthful with dark fruits, earth, tar, tobacco & licorice.

Decanted 2 hours. Deep, rich color. Tar, rose and dark fruit aromas. Licorice, dark cherry add on the palate. Bold tannic structure and good length. In early drinking phase. Shows great potential.

First time for the 2004 and was very impressive. Well balanced
