Took a little while to come out but it certainly shows more on the nose than the '06. Not the most focused on the palate, but still enjoyable.

I have never had the white before. A very layered and complex wine. On the nose and palate one gets fruit but it is dominated by apricot. Some Chenin lanolin there but I would not call this Chenin if I was tasting blind. IMO the wood contributes weight not flavor. Seemed like it had years to go. A unique wine.
