Tawny reddish color with bricking and light rims. While it looks thin in the glass, the nose packs a wallop. Notes of black cherries, rose petals, some dark wood, some licorice and a bit of tar. Very fragrant. In the mouth it's solid but missing a little in the mid-palate. In a good drinking window. The nose is the thing here.

Reddish tawny color and mostly translucent. Obvious Nebbiolo nose with notes of tea, roses, pepper, some anise and a hint of tar. Seductive in the mouth but still has some edge to it. Good finish. Great pair tonight with homemade pasta and sauce.

Tar, roses, and red fruit dance an intricate and captivating routine, incredible grace and balance, drinking superbly and should continue to do so for years to come.

A little bit of funk blew off after a short time in the glass. Integrated tannins, good fruit but overall a little bit flat. On the way down?

Medium red with moderate bricking. Perfumed nose of red fruit, flowers and herbs. A touch rustic. Medium body, bright and clear, with a long finish. Very precise and gains complexity with air. This drinks well at the moment.
