Immensely enjoyable Pinot; black cherry and plum profile that is rich without being heavy; mouth coating without being mouth staining; long, satisfying finish that sings RRV; wife satisfying so much so she stole my last glass

Milk chocolate covered cherry cordial, dried strawberry, warm spices, cola, butter toffee (Skor Bar, perhaps?), candied raspberry, violets, all balanced with fantastic acidity. Extremely youthful, this will only get better.

This may be the most enchanting mellow and delectable Pinot Noir from CA I've tasted in a while. Underripe strawberries. Perfumed, purple flowers and very mild earth. Amazing bouquet and very long finish with a harmonious structure balancing all components.

Compared to the 09 gaps crown this needs more bottle time to hit its peak. Bigger in every way. Crazy seductive perfume, much bigger in the mouthful- more dark fruit and heavier- nice finish but with time will get more well knit and will have a better finish. Still very very good!
