Overall I have been happy with the way California 96's are showing and this is no exception. Another great Scott McLeod accomplishment. The sour black cherries and violets are subtle, the tannins are round and lush. Had some difficulty with the cork but otherwise an enjoyable and elegant wine 2 decades later.
