Costers del Segre DO which I always seek out (same with Emporda) love this rendition of Tempranillo. Red fruited, and bit of spice, leather & earth, could pass as Chianti. Food friendly, mellow & approachable at $12.

Nice deep red color and spicy nose. Mellow and tasty, with nice lingering tannin. Brings out the sweetness of the raw almonds I'm eating. I wish it was a tad colder (didn't get it in the wine fridge first) but I like it!!
