2020 vintage. Previewing a few candidates for cheap chicken, haus juice (granted, about a month late but been busy-lay off me, man!). Good body and concentration for the $4.99 Trader Joe's price. Pretty decent, all things considered. A few more in the haus wine prospect queue but you could, immeasurably, do worse at the $4.99 price tag.

NOSE: a bit yeasty and vinegar-y pickled vegetables, some mild toffee and wood if you smell deeply, a little coffee. Pretty subdued…
TASTE: cherry, good acidity, a little woody tannin on the finish. A little thin. Dead simple and forgettable, but a great deal for the $5 I paid for it! 84.
