Still in early stages. Still firm, really hard tannins. Needs a few hours to show its stuff. But then beautiful aromas; a very traditional, well made Pessac-Leognan. Let’s see in 10 years.
This is getting better and better. 9.4 now.

Nov 26th, 2021Lemon custard, apples, mineral, integrated oak, rich and broad but tart at the same time. A lot of SO2.

Nov 28th, 20192014 vintage. This is the red. 65% Cab Sauv, 30% Merlot, 5% PV. Nose opened up after 45 mins with some sea salt, allspice, currant and cherry notes. Medium to medium+ body. Fairly plushy and cushioned on the finish. Tannins are there if you want ‘em but that Petit Verdot really steals the show at the end. A modicum of mint + baking chocolate make an appearance as well. Still clinging to a small paunch of baby fat which should fall off in another two years. The tumblers are clicking but the combination isn’t totally there just yet. Give it another 3-4 years but pretty dayum delish right now.
