Really quite nice and very approachable already. Had some nice funk and red berry fruit.

Nice pinot...tart fruit and earthy..then faded...

Vibrant Ruby with red fruit aromas and cedar notes. On the palate, this well-structured wine displays cherry and blackberry fruit with herb and earthy spices. Tannins are soft and smooth, savory, good balance, ending with a slight oak and mineral finish, nice length.

Classic, perfumed red Burgundy, some cedar and red spice, excellent value. Faiveley from what I have heard IS back on their A-frame!

From Faiveley’s Clos des Myglands, a premier cru vineyard in Mercurey, in the Cote Chalonnaise subregion. It is a 6 hectare monopole on an east-facing slope near the northern edge of the village. Partial whole-cluster fermentation and aged for 15 months in oak barrels (30% new). Aromas of red berries, spices and earthy notes. Rich, full-bodied, fruit-forward

Wonderful. Fruit and acid in balance. Delicious with a hearty soup of root vegetables and turkey cumin ginger garlic.
