Awesome wine. Way way young. But way way awesome. Classic. Roses and tar for days. Big furry tannins. Juicy and so fresh. Loads of deep bright cherry fruit. Amazingly long. Huge acids. I’d revisit in 10 years.

Wow. Amazing. Fresh as a daisy.
Nose is almost savory.
Palate is vibrant. Bright cherries. Deep. Delicious. cherry licorice.
Needs an hour decant.

Just had 3 days later from a Saran wrapped decanter. Omg. nose is platonic ideal of Nebbiolo. Palate is perfect. Insane texture. Cherry perfume. Almost orgasmic. High end burgundy elegance. #
Has this elegant deliciousness like gc burgundy. A hint of sluttiness like DRC RSV. But still elegant. Astonishing.

For those of you who are not drinking rattalino you are missing out big time. This is one of the more mammoth wines. Nose is black cherry tar and a hint of rose. Super complex. Palate is just starting to shift from young vibrant fruit to darker fruit with leather. Still has great balance. Long. Grippy. Great structure. A big dense wine but a balanced one. Some rose juice on the finish. Wow. Bought from fass selections.

Great freshness. Has the structure to last for a decade or more. Bought from Fass Selections. ...As time goes on some lovely spice on the nose. ... an hour in internal aromatics kicking in. Explosive concentrated cherry. Wow. ... 90 minutes in nose has this almost dusty gorgeous quality.
