The prep for my Napa trip continues as Classic hosted Hertelendy Winery tonight. Extremely small production with PTitus as the consulting winemaker. Vineyards located just below the Howell Mtn designation.

This is their “entry” wine. The label glows in the dark. As an entry level, it’s still fairly tight knit. I picked up the Malbec and petit Verdot fairly easily. Inky. Lots of blackberries and cassis. Fairly easy to consume.

Omg!!! EPIC. This blend is the thing of dreams. Stick your nose in it and tell me that you don’t immediately want to drink it; and the mouth feel and taste is so everything you think it will be.

Again not the Cabernet,
Its the Audere blend
44% merlot 29 % Cabernet 16% Petit Verdot 10% cab franc 1% Malbec,.
This one is the least expensive of the line up, I see the upside in all 3 Hertelendy's I tried, but they all need years,
