Yellowish/ Golden in color.

Fruity nose of apples, pears, peaches, melons, smoke, oak, toast, vanilla and light pepper.

Full bodied, buttery and bold, with medium acidity.

Dry to off dry on the palette with citrus, lemons, honey, red apples, melons, wood, vanilla, tropical fruits, peaches, bananas, cream, spices and black pepper.

Medium minus on the finish with limes.

This is a nice surprise. Well balanced, simple and enjoyable by itself or with food. Oaky and buttery, but not overwhelming like I expected it to be. Easy to drink, without any bitterness.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

On the nose; plenty of green apple, buttered popcorn, lemon/lime, pineapple flesh, hint of butterscotch, yellow lilies & jasmine. The body is creamy & buttery...not a huge oak influence. But at $14 a bottle from the winery, new oak barrels just don’t figure into the equation. The flavors are much the same as the nose. Lots of green apple, buttered popcorn, lemon/lime, pineapple flesh, kiwi, hint of butterscotch, herbaceous quality, yellow lilies & jasmine. Alcohol is just a shade too hot. The acidity could be better but it finishes decently for it’s price point. Better than expectation; which was low for the free hotel wine social. Quaffable. Photos of; Sterling Estate, the Sterling tram, patio terrace and one of their vineyards.

Tasty everyday chardonnay. Medium to full boday, good acid balance. Bought at the local grocery store

Nice yellow sunny color, apple butter on the nose, soft citrus rind and some residual sweetness on the palate

Cripes that's sweet and oaky. Enjoyable in a taste. Can't imagine drinking more than a glass though

Very fruity on the nose, mainly pineapple, apple and some apricot and pear with a herbal hint like jasmine, on the palate a bit less fruity mainly apple and pear with a creamy, oaky slight hint.
