Gold Rush Red Bourbon Barrel-Aged California Cabernet Sauvignon Blend

I tried many bourbon barrel aged wines and consistently I am not a fan, haven’t found one I liked. To me it masks the fruit, makes the barrel take over.

Ridiculously smooth. The charred vanilla flavor is as advertised. Legs for days. Great wine!

Sweet. Maybe too sweet.

Smooth, light for red, Amy likes for red, tingly finish

Super duper dark and legs for days. Opaque, eggplant-y red and smells like vibrant dark fruit. Currant, cherry, vanilla, spice and oak. Starts mellow and fruit heavy and then ends in a spicy, tannic feel that's not quite rounded but very, very good.
